Viking/Blacksmiths Knife

$45.00

Hand forged blacksmiths knife with finger guard. Fits comfortably in your hand and will make a great conversation starter.

Mild steel has ok edge retention and is pretty easy to sharpen but does need to be dried immediately after washing and be wiped down with a food safe oil…like vegetable oil…then wipe off any access to prevent rust as it is not a stainless steel.

D2 steel has superior edge retention but can take a little more time to re sharpen once it does start to dull. Oiling will help with the longevity of the blade but this is far less important. think about how you would like to use the knife and make an informed choice. I want you to be happy with your purchase for as long as you own it.
